The Spanner Big Band returns to The Gunners for a one-off evening of big band entertainment, celebrating the upcoming victory of the Independent candidates for Islington North, Holborn & St Pancras and Chingford & Woodford Green…. 8 days later on Indepentent’s Day. The wonderfully eccentric Spanner Big Band treats audiences with an electrifying performance of classic numbers, originals and pop renditions. Directed by the charismatic Dan Spanner, this 16 piece ensemble offers an explosive combination of jazz virtuosity and rock’n’roll attitude!
