The Spanner Big Band has three more Three Compasses gigs, a Jamboree gig and a special event at Chelsea Arts Club… A Saturday night gig for the big band… that’s the third one since we resumed in September… There’s one coming up in January too – at Wilton’s Music Hall – it’s Steve Pretty special – we play a matinee for the kids and then an evening show… more details to follow…
The Dan Spanner Trio has a gig coming up at New Cross Inn on December 22nd… an opportunity to play a loud set in that great room and great p.a. system. The band is currently making a start on a new album… tracks that didn’t make it onto the first album as well as reworkings of material from Jazz Punks and new songs too…
